Radovan Brychta /born1958/ graduated from the electrical technical college in Jicin, in 1985 he began to work with his aunt and uncle, Jaroslava Brychtova and prof. Stanislav Libensky, in the glass casting production of their sculptures. He learned all aspects of the technology for the production process and assisted them with the glass casting until 2004, when their studio ceased to exist. In 1990, while still working for his aunt and uncle, he founded his own glass studio in Zelezny Brod, where he now works to this day with his wife Alena Brychtova, who graduated from the Zelezny Brod glass art school. Radovan and Alena continue to work with many influential artists and architects from around the world.
